Yesterday's Airforce
Yesterday's Airforce was designed and built by very prominent SANGS Club Member, Chris Finney. Yesterday's Airforce was designed as a model that not only captured the interests of railfans but also plane spotters alike. Yesterday's Airforce was modelled as a working aircraft fighter musuem complete with runway.
The modules also featured 1/144 scale classic fighter jets, bombers and some civilian aircraft. A remarkable feature of this model was that members ot the public could make aircraft propellers spin by pressing buttons in front the layout. Yesteday's Airforce is now retired but many of the buildings and aircraft have been saved for other future SANGS modules.
